Questions

Here are some of the questions that people asked me:

Wendi and Jessica: What is the food like?
The food here is pretty good! The bananas and the mango are my favorite so far. They have rice, bread, watermelon, eggs, milk, meat, and many other things. We have to drink bottled water because of the different things in their water. That also means that we cannot have lettuce and vegetables that have to be rinsed, because they have to be rinsed in that water. I am missing those vegetables so much! The bananas and the mango are so good, they taste much better than the stuff at home. They also have much more flavor. I had to take malaria medicine and it tore up my stomach, so I am just recovering from that. Can you please pray for me?

Gaylin: What is your hotel like?
Our hotel is very nice, no we do not have a kitchen, all we have is a fridge. We have two rooms but we move the mattresses into one room for bedtime. We also have a TV,(a big one too). It is nice to have two bathrooms, and for Sonia's nap time it is handy to have two rooms. We do keep the girl things in one room and the boy stuff in the other. It always happen that we hang out in the boy room way more. The outside at the hotel is gorgeous. If I told you all about it, it would take hours, so I will tell you that they were picking the weeds out of the grass! Who does that in the US? That might give you an idea of what it looks like.

Sonia is transitioning so well! If you would like to see pictures you can go to my moms blog! This is officially the hardest trip I have ever taken. Anyway if you have anymore questions go ahead and ask, now you see I love to answer them! Thanks for your prayers~ Bailey~Psalm 56:3

Sounds like it is tropical there...is it? (That is one of my questions). Also, is it hot, cold, or warm?

One more thing...What does it smell like in Rwanda? Does it stink, smell good, or what?

Still praying for all of you!!! :0)

Thanks for answering my question! It sounds like you are having a great trip. I will be praying for your stomach to feel better!
2 more questions:
1. Have you seen any interesting shows on that big TV?
2. What has been the most surprising part of your trip so far?

Excited to read your next post!
