3 Weeks

Three weeks until.....

1. My Birthday

2. Mfuge @North Greenville University for youth camp

3. 12 and 1/2 years since we have lived in North Carolina

I don't have anything interesting to tell you about so I will just post some pictures of Sonia and I! :)

Happy Birthday Anna Gray!

A few days ago was my very good friend, Anna Gray's birthday! She is one of the funniest people that I know. Here are 5 things about Anna Gray:

Sonia B.

Have I mentioned how this little girl's language has been coming along.....

...wonderfully really. She has been learning new words everyday. One of her favorite things to do is to name all of her body parts. She LOVES to do that. Sonia is learning so fast, it is incredible. Today she saw deodorant, brought it to my dad and lifted up her arm so it showed her armpits(have I mentioned she is soooo smart). My dad helped her out and started to put deodorant on her tiny armpits. Then she says, " I tikawish..." and laughed...so did my dad...we all did after he told us. I thought that it was too funny. June, really?

This year is flying by so fast. It is hard to believe that I will be 13 years old in only 1 month 1 week and 6 days.......I am very impatient. Summer time means no school and it is my favorite time of year, here are 5 reasons why:

1. My Birthday

2. Swimming

3. The Beach....my fav.

4. No School!!!!!!

5. Wearing t-shirts and shorts not jeans and a sweatshirt.

Jammin into Summer

The seven jars of Cherry Jam.......yummy!

My Nana and I sitting behind our many jars of strawberry and blueberry jam that we worked so hard for! This is the third year that we have made jam together, I will always remember the memories that we have made together.

Last weekend my grandma and I made two batches of strawberry jam and one batch of blueberry. Then today we went and picked cherries, so when we got home my mom and I made some cherry jam. Wow, is it all so good(I used the recipe in the Sure Jell packet)! I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day with your families! Thanks for reading~Bailey~Psalm 56:3~

Adopted

Sonia was adopted into our family 6 months ago. It is amazing to think that just 6 months ago we were meeting her for the first time. I know that I was filled with happiness to meet the sister that I had prayed for for 8 years. Even though she has only been here 6 months it feels like she has been here forever. She fits in so perfect. I have to say that she is the smartest and funniest 2 year old in the whole world. I love her so very much......I don't know what we did without her.
